Phil was the very first employee of Reels back in 2004 and is the driving force behind much of our work. Phil has the ability to bring concepts to life and develop scripts with real creative style. He is also an excellent producer, he is really beginning to make waves in the UK film industry. Phil loves his music nearly as much as he loves his films!
Joe is Reels in Motion’s safe pair of hands. With over 10 years experience heading up the Production department, we challenge you to find something he hasn’t done. From filming at height, underwater or on top of fast-moving vehicles, Joe has it covered. He is a passionate Stoke City fan and loves Christmas.
Nick is Reels’ in-house animator and all round after effects guru. Nick came to Reels in 2014 and joined the growing animation department. His ability to create animation that not only wows visually but also holds our clients’ key messages at their core, means that he hasn’t had a day off the editing suite since.
When unchained from his computer, Nick loves Liverpool FC which goes down really well with Joe.
With over 20 years of experience under his belt, John has worked with and delivered video content for many well-known brands including BT, Marriott Hotels, Tui, The BBC, ITV and The Ministry of Defence to name just a few.
As well as an accomplished production manager, he has a wealth of experience behind the camera, in the edit suite and is also an accredited CAA aerial drone pilot.
Being a connoisseur of the finest malts has absolutely nothing to do with him being a kilt-wearing Scotsman! (This also goes down well with Joe )
Jen has over 9 years of experience in producing and production management and will bring all those skills to your project. Jen works along side our Production Manager John and the dynamic duo will ensure your project is delivered on time and on budget and way beyond your expectations.

Jen is also Reels in Motion lead in delivering in schools and colleagues as Reels uses Video Production as a tool to improve Key skills within young people and help them understand the opportunities that are available not just at Reels in Motion but the industry as a whole.
Joe recently joined Reels in Motion to help build his experience in the video production industry during his placement year at Staffordshire University. When he’s not working hard in the editing suite, he’s scrolling through Reddit catching up on the latest memes.
Sophie recently joined Reels in Motion to complete a placement year for her degree at Staffordshire University (where our Directors met) If she’s not focusing on our next showreel or behind a camera she puts her feet up and plays Stardew Valley.
Tom was a member of the Reels in Motion team for 5 years but decided to go it alone in 2019. We know Tom’s ability and he understands the quality that Reels in Motion delivers at. So when we are at full capacity you may well see Tom again on set as part of the team.
