Project: Stoke on Trent City Council
The House Project is an initiative being piloted by Stoke-on-Trent City Council, supporting young care leavers as they prepare to leave the care system for the very first time. The documentary video was shot across the city of Stoke-on-Trent with care leavers who offered us a glimpse into life as they see it.
Premiered at an event attended by key decision makers within the organisation, the team hoped to gain support and funding to put the initiative into practice.
The House Project has since received the funding it needed and with the help of the young people, are working together in getting the very first Housing Co-operative of it’s kind off the ground.
